Founded in 1959 by William Henry Freeman, FREEMAN THE MOVER LTD is a stable, privately-owned household goods, office, and industrial moving and storage company based in St. Thomas, Ontario.

William Henry Freeman, known as Henry (Bill) Freeman, was renowned for his strength and hard work. He would move anything and everything his customers asked of him. Through years of dedication, he transformed the company into one of the leading and most respected residential and commercial moving companies in the St. Thomas - Elgin – Middlesex area, serving thousands of satisfied customers locally and throughout Ontario.

In 1990, Henry’s son, Rob Freeman, became a partner in the family business. As they worked together to move homes and businesses locally and throughout Ontario, FREEMAN THE MOVER LTD established itself as a trusted and well-known name in the moving industry.

The company faced a significant loss after the passing of William Henry Freeman in 2005. Since then, Rob Freeman has taken full ownership of the company, expanding it to a small fleet of trucks while maintaining the unmatched professionalism and quality service that FREEMAN THE MOVER LTD is known for.
